John Cimral, Chief Executive Officer
John is a seasoned, serial entrepreneur with over two decades of experience leading successful enterprise software businesses. He was the CEO of ProSight, a startup that pioneered IT portfolio management and IT governance systems. ProSight was the Inc. 500’s fourth fastest growing private software company in 2004. John also led INTERSOLV’s PVCS business and Symantec’s security products business. Earlier in his career, John ran product development at Bachman Information Systems and Datalogix. He has been awarded ten international and U.S. software patents. John holds a bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a M.A. in human resources management from Pepperdine University, and a M.S. in computer science from M.I.T.
Stefan Andreasen, Founder and Chief Technology Officer
Stefan Andreasen has more than 20 years experience in software design and development. He spent five years with Advanced Visual Systems working on cutting-edge Java and visual programming projects. In 1998 he started Kapow Technologies as a marketplace for cars, real estate and boats for sale. In 2001, Stefan sold the marketplace to the largest bank in Denmark and changed Kapow Technologies into a pure software company and introduced the industry’s first server-based solution for mashups, the Kapow Mashup Server. In 2006 he launched www.openkapow.com, where web developers can freely use the product to build and share API's to data on the internet. In his current role as Founder and CTO, Stefan focuses on product innovation and is an evangelist for the company, frequently speaking at industry events regarding Web 2.0 trends and mashups.
John Yapaola, Chief Operating Officer
John Yapaola has over 20 years experience in the management and growth of high-technology start-up companies. He has held executive positions in sales, marketing and operations at several technology companies that had successful IPOs. He is currently a founding member of the New York Angels Investment Group, based in New York City. In his last executive position, he served as CEO of Let’s Think Wireless, a wireless infrastructure design, engineering and installation company. He also served as Executive Vice President of Business Development for Paytrust, Inc. responsible for developing and implementing the business development strategy for the corporation. Prior to joining Paytrust, he served as Executive Vice President of Operations for the Americas at The Fantastic Corporation. Before joining The Fantastic Corporation, he was Vice President of Sales at Logic Works. John Yapaola is on the Board of several privately held companies.
Joe Keller, Chief Marketing Officer
Joe Keller is responsible for helping to define, set and drive the corporate direction of products, services and technologies in the marketplace.
He was previously Vice President of Marketing for SOA and Integration Platforms for Sun Microsystems. In his prior role, Joe was responsible for the overall direction of Sun's SOA and Integration technologies, and drove corporate strategy for web services and Java standards. He held previous positions at Sun including full leadership of the iPlanet Application Services team and Director and General Manager of Sun's Developer Environments and Tools group. Before joining Sun, Joe was responsible for managing sales and systems engineering for Texas Instruments national accounts and reseller programs in San Francisco. Keller earned a B.S. in economics at the University of California, Davis, and an M.B.A. at the University of Texas, Austin.
Thomas Weilby Knudsen, Chairman
Thomas Weilby Knudsen serves as the CEO of the venture capital firm IVS. After working with ERP consulting and training, he started up international activities in several European countries with TDC (NYSE: TLD). Thomas Weilby Knudsen held various positions including International Director for the Internet division, before taking on the role of Manged Service Manager at Cybercity, a leading Danish broadband ISP. Thomas Weilby Knudsen joined IVS in 2002, where he also serves as director on the board of several portfolio companies. Thomas holds an M.Sc. in economics and business administration.
