Professional Services Consultant

Overview:

The position is a consultant role within the Professional Services organization of Kapow Technologies. The consultant will be deploying software solutions on customer projects. Typical tasks will be: training, installation, configuration, robot and application development, and architectural recommendations. A typical customer engagement takes between 1-6 weeks.

Profile:

  • Excellent HTML, XML, and JavaScript skills.
  • Skills within at least one of the following technologies: Java, JSP, .NET.
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to differentiate your message depending on the audience.
  • Ability to work within a team or in a solo capacity on customer projects. Be able to work systematically and creatively at the same time.
  • A relevant academic degree: BA or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or similar; MBA a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a software development position, and 3 years experience in a consulting capacity is preferred.
  • Open to possibility of 75% travel.
