Consistent Environment
There are several Editions of the Kapow Mashup Server designed to support different styles of web harvesting and different ways to use the data that’s been harvested. However, users of all Editions of the Kapow Mashup Server are provided the same software environment for the execution, management and monitoring of their robots, which includes the following functional components:

Adaptive and Configurable
To differentiate from our hosted Kapow OnDemand product, we will collectively refer here to all Editions of the Kapow Mashup Server as Enterprise products. Enterprise products are installed and managed on-premises by our customers. The Enterprise Server environment is typically installed on a single server, which supports one or more user communities in a company.
The Enterprise Server can be configured as a standalone execution environment, or as multiple concurrent robot execution instances to meet more demanding performance requirements. The multi-threaded architecture of the Enterprise Server provides near linear scalability for robot execution that supports the needs a wide range of production environments and use cases.
Resource Control
Management and monitoring are implemented by the Control Center, which provides the following capabilities:

* Monitoring, starting and stopping of one or more robots |

* Various administrative tasks and runtime performance statistics |
Control Center makes it easy to monitor what’s running on the server, identify how server resources are being used, manage performance bottlenecks, and start or stop instances of individual robots or the entire Enterprise Server itself.
