Role-Based Interactions
Kapow OnDemand is built around the concept of user roles (developers, users, admins). What you can do and how you do it will vary based on the role that you’re operating in. This provides fine grained control of who can develop, edit, or execute robots and allows for a lot of flexibility to create user communities that can be easily changed based on business need. All of the reporting and monitoring capabilities are automatically updated to be consistent with any changes in role structure defined by the administrator.
You can also provide users outside of your company, such as business partners or suppliers, access to your Kapow OnDemand services, by creating a role and user login for them. Essentially, this is a multi-tenant environment that you control.
Serious Software
The OnDemand Server is deployed onto a commercial-grade computing grid that utilizes the kind of security, reliability, and scalability typically found only in enterprise data centers. Kapow OnDemand users can take comfort in the knowledge that they are using a highly secure service that incorporates the latest technology for load balancing, high availability, failover, and automated backup and restore.
